Design of Comprehensive Monitoring and Analysis Instrument for Mine Environment

The environment in underground mine is very complicated, high levels of toxic gases pose a threat to the safety and health of workers. But the existing single-parameter gas detecting device has the disadvantages of high cost, large volume, and poor versatility. This paper designs a mine environment comprehensive monitoring and analysis instrument, which integrates various sensors to monitor carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, oxygen, carbon monoxide, as well as particle matter, ambient temperature, humidity. At the same time, the instrument has variety of communication interfaces, enabling real-time data upload, local storage, and on-site display. The software design and hardware integration were completed, the actual test results were good and achieved the expected requirements.
