Green Cognitive Femtocells Deployment House Modelling for Interference Mitigation

Optimal radio coverage and system capacity is definitely a challenge in cellular communication. Since most users today use mobiles in enclosed environments due to the fact that they spend most of their time in indoor enclosure. Now in enclosed environments, we see that there is a signal penetration loss due to walls or other enclosing materials. This may lead to poor coverage in those environments; ergo, concept of smaller cells was introduced. Femtocells are believed to be very useful for indoor coverage predicaments. The problem that has occurred frequently in the case of femtocells deployment is interference management. Due to non-coordinated deployments of femtocells in the same Macrocell, there is a great chance of interference occurrence among different Femtocells or between Macrocell and femtocells. The proposed technique improves in two different suburban house models are taken into account for the co-layer interference management among different femtocells. In results, performance in terms of throughput over VoIP, throughput over video and Spectral efficiency is measured and compared. It is shown that deployment models and the placement of femtocells are more efficient and comparable to other state of the art design in terms of interference management.
