Touch-Typing Skills Estimation Using Eyewear

Typing skill improvement is an important issue in modern society, where people use a computer for a variety of applications. In this study, we developed a touch-typing skills estimation system using eyewear to decrease a learners training time for developing touch-typing skills. Our proposed method proposes that a detection method of touch-typing through analysis of recorded electrooculography (EOG) and movements of the learners head. In this study, we developed a system that simply recognizes a learners gaze movement to detect touch-typing, and we evaluated the detection accuracy of our proposed method.
