Primary Arc Modeling in Transmission Line

According to the previous research, fault arcs can be modeled numerically under a simulation program such as Matlab - Simulink. In this paper the dynamic behavior of the arc is represented as a time-varying resistance by solving a differential equation of arc conductance as a function of energy balance in the arc column. Depending on the variation of the arc parameters, certain effects of the interaction with the transmission system are observed.
