Phased Array Ultrasonic Imaging Front-End T/R Hardware Circuit Design of Diving and Salvaging Helmet

During the process of salvaging and rescue in inland rivers, due to the low visibility of the underwater environment, it is difficult to observe the surrounding environment and sediments by using light vision. Based on the principle of ultrasonic imaging, combined with the needs of underwater salvage and rescue, a front-end T/R hardware circuit with 64 array elements, 32 transmit channels, and 16 ultrasonic receive channels was designed. This circuit is used as an ultrasonic signal acquisition unit in the design of subsequent diving rescue helmet. According to the diameter distribution range of common objects and salvage tools in the water area, the demand for diving distance in the near field, and attenuation law of ultrasonic distance, we can determine the center frequency of the ultrasonic transducer of the diving rescue helmet, the number of array elements focused by the phased array, and the gain compensation range of ultrasonic echo signal.
