Complete Model for System with Uncertain Heavy Load Disturbance and Its Application

With the rapid development of national defense and economy, the control performance of heavy equipment is increasingly demanding. Establishing a complete and accurate mathematical model is an important requirement to control the heavy load disturbance system accurately because load is an important part of the ship steering system. A general model with random and uncertain disturbances is proposed and applied to a ship steering system. In the course of navigation, the uncertainty of the ship's load, the random disturbances made by the waves, ocean currents and the sea wind will all affect the ship’s course. The ship steering gear system is a typical electro- hydraulic servo system, which has the characteristics of large inertia, uncertainty and heavy load disturbance, random disturbance and nonlinearity. The analysis and modeling results show that the ship steering gear system is a high order, non-self-balancing complex system, and the external control and disturbance have a serious effect on the rudder blade angle. Therefore, establishing complete system models, including stochastic and uncertain disturbances, is of great significance for system analysis and control.
