Dual-band Antenna Decoupling Design with Stepped Impedance Loaded Dual-band Dummy Element

This paper presents a compact dual-band WLAN MIMO antenna with improved isolation. The antenna covers 2.45GHz and 5.8GHz band, and high isolation at 2.45GHz and 5.8GHz between the antennas is obtained by using one dummy element with a second-order impedance transmission line. The measured results proved that proposed antenna has good impedance matching performance and high isolation.
