An Optical Leaky Waveguide Excitation by Offset Prabolic Reflector using Photonic Bandgap

This paper presents a excitation method of optical leaky waveguide antenna (OLWA) by parabolic reflector using photonic bandgap. We evaluate the performance of OLWA by proposed and conventional excitation method in the simulation. Our proposed method enables to excite OLWA with small feeding circuit.
