Fault-Tolerant Tracking Control of Satellite Using Fuzzy Models under Imperfect Premise Matching

This paper investigates the issue of a satellite’s fault-tolerant tracking control using fuzzy models under imperfect premise matching condition. T-S fuzzy models are employed to represent the primitive nonlinear satellite model. In order to obtain more designing room, we consider the membership functions’ information when analyzing the system stability using Lyapunov stability theory. Besides, the imperfect premise matching case is considered to further alleviate design conservativeness. In addition to efforts of providing more design flexibility, we propose a kind of fault-tolerant control law for satellite, which is different from conventional ones in independence on fault detection and isolation. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
