H∞ Filtering for Networked Systems Subject to Multi-Channel Switching

A novel means of the H_∞ filtering for networked control systems (NCSs) with channel switching is introduced in this paper. The interested system may manifest different characteristics (in terms of quantization density in this paper) when subject to channel switching, hence the underlying NCS is regarded as switched system for analysis. A mode-dependent and quantization-error-dependent Lyapunov-like function is presented to reduce the design conservatism. Based on the developed stability and l₂-gain analysis results, H_∞ filters design method guaranteeing the globally uniformly asymptotical stability and specified l₂-gain of the filtering error system is proposed. A numerical simulation is performed for the sake of validity and advantage demonstration.
