Problems of Determining Manufacturing Costs for Industrial Products and Ways to Solve Them

The paper presents analysis of the main problems in pricing and costing determination for industrial products caused by both the absence of a modern database of regulatory and methodological documentation and significant contradictions of the norms and requirements of existing regulatory documents governing these issues. The main emphasis is given to the development of design management principles at industrial enterprises, implementation of product life cycle management principles, ensuring the use of competitive mechanisms of cost reduction, using modern methods and tools for product quality management, and improving the training of industry specialists.
