The Device for Measurement, Digitation and Saving of the Electrotelluric, Seismological, and Geophysical Data

Solving of the seismological and geophysical tasks requires monitoring of different values in real time. At present the measurement of different values is carried out using the specialized devices as a rule designed for measuring of only one specific value, for example such devices as: temperature meters, humidity meters, seismic receivers, radon radiometers and so on. However, the current level of technological development has made it possible to create a unified (multi-purpose) measurement unit capable of solving the research tasks in different fields. The important features of the device in question are geographical coordinates' referencing capability (GPS function) and a continuous time synchronization function. Referencing to geographical coordinates and time synchronization are carried out by means of the integrated GPS and/or Glonass signal receivers. Data transmission requires radio transmitters or other communication devices. Saving of the accumulated data in turn requires exerting maximum load on the device with the speed of data saving being significantly lower than that of the connected computer. The present device is an example of a unified measuring unit based on the concept of a low power consumption and eliminating tasks requiring high computer power. The device for measurement, digitization and accumulation of the electro-telluric, seismological and geophysical data makes it possible to solve a wide range of research tasks. It is based on the low power consumption principle allowing to use the measurement device in question with the self-contained power supply sources.
