Construction and Application of 35kV Vehicle Mounted Mobile Substation

The 35kV substations of Guangdong Power Grid are basically distributed in the remote power supply areas. There are many single-transformer and single-line substations and old stations. In order to enhance the ability of Guangdong Power Grid to resist disasters and recover electricity supply, a 35kV mobile substation was constructed and applied. This paper introduces the first vehicle-mounted mobile substation in Guangdong Province, focusing on the research background, design and construction plan, and application experience of the 35kV mobile substation. The overall design technology program elaborates on the selection of electrical equipment, electrical layout, overvoltage protection and grounding, substation automation system, relay protection, integrated AC/DC system, time synchronization system, and intelligent auxiliary control system. Finally it summarizes the experience in the field application process.
