Point Field Detection-based Current Sensing: Design and Implementation

Point field detection-based current sensors are commonly applied in power electronics due to the intrinsic galvanic isolation and flexible sensing hardware setup. This research focuses on the design and implementation of point field detection-based current sensing in power electronics applications. Various types of point field detection methods are included in this paper. Several sensing related issues including frequency-dependent sensing bandwidth, sensing feedback delay, magnetic flux leakage, busbar capacitive coupling, and sensing temperature dependency. The current regulation based power electronics current sensing are also discussed in this paper.
