Net Banking for Visually Impaired Using Fully Automated Card Explorer

Biometrics is the technical term for body measurements and calculations. It refers to metrics connected to the physical characteristics of a human being. Biometrics is largely used in computer science as a form of authentication for access control. Since physical traits such as fingerprint, retina and voice are unique in a human, biometrics is the safest way to ensure that the identity of the person requesting access is authentic. Due to this characteristic, this paper proposes a way of authenticating online transactions using the fingerprint. This method makes it easy for everyone, especially those with visual disabilities, to go through with transactions in a secure and simple way. This paper is based on a project conducted on the same principle and uses a biometric fingerprint scanner embedded into the program of the proposed software. The resulting software drastically decreased the time taken in completing a transaction as well as greatly simplified the process.
