Implementation of Multi-Function Printer for Professional Institutions

This paper gives brief idea about the multi-function printer with an Raspberry Pi 3. The multi-function printer's operation is used to print the page, scan the page and fax the page as the same of the windows operating system. The Raspberry Pi works on the Linux platform(Debian-based Linux Operating System). The printer works on the principle of Common Unix Printing System(CUPS) in linux. The Multi-Function Printer is configured in the CUPS and it is made to act as a server for printing the page in printer. The page needed to print is given as a print from the print dialog box and the printer will start to print the page. In Raspberry Pi, while scanning the page, the XSANE 0.998 dialog box is used for giving the command to scan the page through the printer.
