A Review on Routing Protocols for Flying Ad-Hoc Networks

A Flying Ad-hoc network (FANETS) is á derived class of Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANETS) which uses a set of homogeneous flying agents known as MAV's (Micro Aerial Vehicles) that communicates with each other locally. FANET's can support in Emergèncy, Natural Disáster, Military Battle Fields and UAV's (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). FANET's can gather data rapidly and correctly in a situation where traditional ad-hoc networks or MANET's aren't able to communicate. This paper presents a survey on the performance of various routing protocols in real time. This survey is based on advantages and disadvantages of various protocols in FANET.
