Ultra-Flat Dispersion with High Nonlinearity Hexagonal Photonic Crystal Fiber

In this paper we proposed hexagonal photonic crystal fiber (H-PCF) with a periodic arrangement of air holes using the COMSOL Multiphysics software. Here we have presented the dispersion properties and the effective refractive index of the H-PCF. H-PCF achieve ultra-flat dispersion from 1.45 µm to 1.80 µm wavelengths (350 nm bandwidth) with high nonlinearity.
