A Game Theoretic Model of Indian Electricity Market

In this paper, supply, and generation of electricity in the Indian electricity market is presented. Based on the game theoretic models we show the following two results. First, the reduction of transmission cost of electricity for interstate transmission. Second, the effects of equidistribution of electricity on the economic progress of a region. The presented results are derived using a case study of data from Eastern and Western regions of India. ¹1Results obtained in this work are generic and can be applied to other electricity markets.
