Towards Document Flow Discovery in e-Government Systems

Information and Communication Technologies are used in e-Government systems to enhance capabilities related to process, information and knowledge management. Such e-Government Systems facilitate access to services in relation to participation principles. The focus of the paper is the analysis of existing technologies related process in relation to e-government systems. The proposed approach focuses on the discovery and extraction of document flows. An automated process mining generic architecture for document flow discovery in a human-intensive environment is proposed. A case study is discussed, and the results are analyzed in relation to the main benefits.
