Wind Power Generator Output Model Based on the Statistical Wind Speed Distribution Derived From the Historical Data

Wind speed is continuously and randomly variating. The output of wind power generator is highly related to the wind speed. In practice, the original data available in the open access is usually not enough for evaluating a power system performance. In this paper, a wind power generator modelling method which is based on the statistical wind speed distribution from the historical data is proposed. This method can generate infinite samples by using Monte Carlo simulation.
