Direct Power Control Strategy of Single-Phase MMC with Harmonic Control Capability

At present, the research of MMC is mainly focused on the field of three-phase DC transmission. In this paper, the expression of MMC in dark coordinate is established, and the direct power control strategy of single-phase MMC is deduced and the resonant controller is introduced in the power loop. At the same time, considering the control of harmonic current by MMC, a frequency-adaptive power splitter is designed to obtain the expectation of compensation. Finally, a simulation experiment is designed in Matlab / Simulink. It is proved that the single phase MMC with direct power control is not only flexible in power control, but also has the ability of harmonic control.
