Coupling Analysis of AC Motors Based on Relative Gain Array

Alternating current motors is important equipment for electromechanical energy conversion. It has strong electrical coupling. In this paper, the coupled model of AC induction motor is given and the transfer function of the system is calculated. Based on the analysis of the relative gain array, the coupling degree influenced by motor speed is obtained. Finally propose the strategy that using different decoupling control methods in different speed interval according to the value of relative gain. The simulation results show that with the increase of the motor speed, the degree of coupling will increase too. It is effective to use relative gain array to decide to take which decoupling strategy.
