Study of Sierpinski Gasket Used in Gray Image Scrambling

Gray image with sensitive information has very important military and economy value. This paper discusses the method that Sierpinski Gasket used in image scrambling according to the characteristics of gray image, carries out the scrambling process under the n-dimension Sierpinski Gasket, and analyses the safety of this method. Then, this paper validated its feasibility through experiments, and discusses the main factors which impact the effect of scrambling. The results show that this method for image scrambling has strong captivation and good safety, could provide an excellent technique to guarantee the safety of image with important information for storage and transmission.
