Due to the growing demand for air transportation and the shortage of current capacities of air traffic management systems to accommodate future air traffic, there is a need to transform current air traffic management systems. This article describes how enterprise architecture is used worldwide to support business transformation in various domains and how it is used in air traffic management to deliver the necessary transformations to accommodate the growing air traffic and what benefits it brings.
