The Design of DC-DC Converter With an Automatic Dual-mode Switching Controller

The design of DC-DC converter with an automatic dual-mode switching controller was presented in the paper. A pulse-width modulation (PWM) current mode system combined the pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) system, which is controlled by the dual-mode switching controller depends on the load current from 0mA to 650mA. The proposed DC-to-DC converter was designed by TSMC 0.35m CMOS process and converted input range of 2.5V.5V to output voltage of 2V with 1.4mVP-P ripple voltage.
