Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

This paper proposes a T -S fuzzy model-based sliding mode control for permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSM). Firstly, the PMSM is modeled as a T-S fuzzy singularly perturbed system(SPS). Secondly, the parameter perturbations and local torque changes are taken into account in the design of T-S fuzzy model-based sliding mode controller. In order to reduce the chattering problem, the fuzzy control method is used to replace the discontinuous sliding mode controller. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed methods are demonstrated by the simulation results.
