Perspectives and Peculiarities of Spae Vector Modulation Implementation in Precision Electric Drives with Induction and Synchronous Machines

Article deals with issues of space vector modulation-based control algorithms implementation in multi-level inverters for induction and synchronous machines. Analysis of output current pulsations and provided by them electromagnetic torque ripple was performed and their relationship with parameters and algorithm of modulation was established. Inefficiency of amplitude spectrum analysis for torque ripple minimization was shown. Electromagnetic torque ripple minimization method based on selection of corresponding switching trajectories with taking into account the variation of load was presented.
