Channel characterisation at THz frequencies for high data rate indoor communications

THz frequencies offer the potential for high data rate, short-range communication. In this paper, a THz Vector Network Analyser operating in the 0.75 to 1.1 THz region is used to characterise short (sub 30 cm) channel lengths. Path loss and diffraction losses are reported.
