E – Learning for IP – Based Telecommunication Networks

Two major simulation and emulation programs in IP-based networks and generally for telecommunication networks are addressed in the paperwork. A large part of their capabilities and their need for use in the students' learning process are shown. The two products are compared and the advantages and disadvantages are highlighted. In the training of telecommunications specialists and their full balance in knowledge, it is necessary to use both software platforms.
