Research on Broadband Microwave Calibration Source Based on PLL

This paper introduces a novel PLL based broadband microwave calibration source for the broadband microwave receiver. The output signal frequency of the phase locked calibration source is from 5GHz to 10GHz. The frequency range can be broadened to
$\pmb{0.8}\mathbf{GHz}\sim \pmb{18}\mathbf{GHz}$
through frequency widening circuit. Through reducing frequency hopping time by presetting DA, the frequency hopping time is less than
$\pmb{50}\ \mu\ \mathbf{s}$
with the phase noise better than -85dBc/Hz(lkHz@18GHz) and power flatness less than ± 1 dB.
