Hybrid 5G/WLAN $4 \times 4$ Wearable MIMO Antenna Using Loop Structures

In this paper, a four-port wearable antenna array designed in the Chinese 5G band (3300-3600 MHz and 4800-5000 MHz), LTE band 43 (3600-3800 MHz) and S.2-GHz WLAN band (S1S0-S3S0 MHz) for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) operations is presented. The dimension of the system ground is 40mm ×40mm ×2mm In order to enhance the port isolation and reduce correlation, a 10-mm wide T-shaped decoupling slot between two adjacent antenna elements is designed. The simulated antenna performances indicate that the proposed structure has good scalability and it is promising for future 5G wearable application.
