Estimating Cost of Enterprise Mobility Strategy

Enterprises develop mobility solutions for variety of use cases. In all the use cases, the enterprise should consider developing a mobility strategy. Enterprises need to measure the cost and benefits of the mobility solutions and their returns on investment. One challenge is to estimate the cost of various strategic options while developing the enterprise mobility strategy. Cost estimation of the enterprise mobility strategy is challenging due to inherent uncertainties and many dynamics involved. The objective of this paper is to examine several relevant dynamics in estimating the total cost of executing the mobility strategy over a period and develop a generic model that can be used to estimate the costs under various conditions and scenarios.
