Thermal Analysis of Tankless Heating System Using PLC

This article presents a thermal analysis of a tankless heating system based on programmable logic controller (PLC) which is used to acquire and process the thermal data provided by a suitable temperature transducer. The temperature variation has been recorded during transient and steady-state conditions. The thermal analysis has been performed at different water flow and also for different thermal power. The power consumption of the tank less heating system can be decreased using an automation system based on micro controller and PLC in the case of industrial applications.
