Abstract:

Fourth order cumulant based sparse array enhances the degrees of freedom to estimate Direction of Arrival (DoA). Various algorithms have been presented to estimate DoA from the received data of these sparse array. In this paper, we conduct a study to understand the source resolving capabilities, and other performance metrics of cumulant based sparse array. All performance studies and comparisons are based on computer simulations.
