Classifying and Predicting DoS and DDoS Attacks on Cloud Services

Since the bronze age till today we humans have used some security methods or security systems for protecting our valuables. In the bronze age the valuables where artefacts and bronze then silver and many more but now the most important valuable in our modern age is data. Information of all sorts, about everything and everyone, from a common man to a billionaire is stored somewhere in a huge cloud database with servers all around the world. We have developed various methods to store and access these data but there are always chances of security breaches on such cloud systems which may lead to data leak and there are many hackers always trying to attack cloud services to get some valuable information and once a system is compromised there are lot less chances to save the data from being stolen. Sometimes the motive is not to steal any data but to just hurt an organisation financially by not allowing the authentic user to access the services provided and access their data. Data Security is the area on which the paper focuses.
