Sliding Mode Controller-A Nonlinear Approach to Non-Isolated Cuk Converter for Constant Voltage Application

In this work a non-isolated CUK converter is modelled and output voltage is controlled by using sliding mode controller. First CUK converter is designed and analysed by a set of non linear equations, then it is converted into transfer function model using averaging technique. A sliding mode controller is designed to maintain load voltage constant. The efficiency of the converter system is evaluated against step load and input voltage variations. All the results are analysed in Matlab/Simulink platform and presented in this paper.
