Discretized Sinusoidal Waveform Generators for Signal Processing Applications

In this paper, four discretized sinusoidal waveform generation techniques like Bhaskara's sine approximation formula, CORDIC algorithm, parabolic synthesis and Taylor series approximation have been reported. Hardware architectures of Bhaskara's and Taylor's series approximation have been structured for implementation other two methods has been taken from references. All architectures have been designed and synthesized through Verilog HDL targeted to Artix 7(xc7a100t-3csg324) in Vivado 2017 platform. Mathematically errors have been calculated for above mentioned architectures. Pros and cons for the architectures have been described and compared.
