Controlled Consensus in a Social Network with “Simple” Agents

We consider the problem to find conditions, ensuring a required consensus of the agents' beliefs about some situation parameter under a given structure of their interactions. We present the complete solution of this problem, showing that the desired weights of interactions can be calculated without the agents' knowledge about the whole structure of the network-it suffices to use the local information about an agent and his neighbors.
