Integrated Management System for Rail Transport: Planning of Cargo Turnover in Conditions of Uncertainty

The current state and prospects for the development of the integrated information decision support system in freight turnover management in the rail sector are considered. Models of optimal freight turnover scheduling are proposed under uncertainty of unit transportation costs matrix. Formal problem descriptions, characteristics of uncertainty and accounting methods on the basis of the probability scheme, the scheme "Game with Nature" and antagonistic play with the active opponent are considered. Methods of risk assessment are proposed under implementation of the developed freight turnover plan. Further directions of research are proposed.
