Study of Dynamic Stability a Cannard Configuartion UAV

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) having no pilots have proven their values in many areas. In this research we have made an attempt to design and analyze an indigenous UAV in terms of dynamic stability, knowing the mass of the entire system. Both lateral and longitudinal stability analysis of the UAV have been carried out at different conditions such as different airplane geometry and mass so that the best results are extracted. The stability analysis has been carried out in XFLR 5 software. The flight machine used in this analysis is a Canard Configuration UAV designed to operate at low Reynold numbers. The results of this analysis could be utilized to further improve the aerodynamics of the existing design and enhance the stability and performance characteristics of the UAV.
