Comparison between Conventional Fly-back and Interleaved Fly-back Converter for Standalone PV Application

Now a days power generation from solar (PV) has increased more interest due to its various advantages. Some of these are, it generate green and clean energy and hence it does not impact on the environmental nature. It is inconvenient to use PV system, only because its conversion efficiency is low. Thus, this paper presents analysis of inverter for standalone PV applications based on modified integrated interleaved Fly-back converter topology in order to increase the conversion efficiency. Advantages of interleaved Fly-back converter over the conventional Fly-back converter is discussed in this paper. The converter to be used for high power applications, this is the main advantage of interleaving of Fly-back stages.
