Design and Research of Servo Drive System Based on GaN Power Device

Power device such as GaN is used in motor drives. High-frequency drive systems can significantly reduce the size, weight, and cost of the system, but they also cause excessive dv/dt and di/dt. In this paper, Firstly, the hardware circuit based on GaN power device servo driver is designed, the PCB design in GaN driver circuit is analyzed in detail, and the priority order of PCB parasitic parameters is given. Then the FPGA controller is used to implement the hardware current loop control algorithm. Finally, the simulation and experiment realize the speed control on permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). And these is of great significance for the GaN power devices in the field of motor-drive promotion and application.
