Modelling of Power Electronic Converter for LED Lighting System Powered by Micro and Nanogrid

This paper presents a power electronic converter for supplying a LED lighting system powered by micro and nanogrids. The proposed solution is intended for micro and/or nanogrids and consists of a battery, buck converter, control system and LED lighting system. A block diagram of the architecture of the studied system is presented. A MATLAB software environment is used for modelling of the proposed system. The main advantages and disadvantages are studied, presented and discussed.
