Automation of Unmanned Low Capacity Power Plant with Synchronized Generation

Development of distributed small-scale synchronous generation requires to establish specialized technologies for control of their operation modes, both stand-alone and grid-parallel mode. Based on analysis of the issue with parallel operation of small-scale generation facilities with external high-power system, its solution is proved by means of automatic specialized control; development outcomes are given in terms of automation control of local power supply system modes on basis of synchronous small-scale generation ensuring stability in power supply to consumers and safety of power plant equipment and external electrical grid. Automation exercise the full scope of functions for secure. Automation provides a full range of functions of regime, emergency control, auto-operation when switching the local power supply system to stand-alone or grid-parallel mode. The condition and control of the modes is monitored mainly by vector measurements of voltage in the main substations of the local power supply system and connection points to the external electrical grid.
