Investigation of Physics Fields Distributions in Prostate Gland During Transrectal Treatment Instanced by Phantom and Biological Model

Results on investigation of physics fields (used in the device developed in NSTU-NSMU inter-university laboratory for medical electronics) distributions in prostate gland during transrectal treatment instanced by phantom and biological model are represented. Investigations of the ultrasonic and thermal effects were carried out in the phantom made of the base of gelatine solution; of the laser radiation and magnetic field - in the biological model (muscle of cattle). The pictures of the physics fields distributions in the prostate gland are presented as isolines. It is shown that the device provides spatial combining of the influencing factors, temporal combining is ensured by simultaneous use of all the influencing factors. The obtained pictures of the physics fields prove the possibility of using the device for development of new procedures for treatment of a chronic prostatitis in a specified area of a prostate gland (according to data agreed with the leading urologists of Novosibirsk).
