Effect of Initial Rotor Position on Rotor Flux Oriented Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Control using Incremental Encoder

This paper analyzes the effect of the load and initial position of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Control (PMSM) control system when the PMSM is used as a vehicle on the flat road and uphill. The control system that will be analyzed uses Proportional Integral (PI) as a current controller and incremental encoder as a sensor. The results prove that the initial rotor positions affect the motor current.
