Home Assisted Living of Elderly People using Wireless Sensors Networks in a Cloud System

The present research aimed to evaluate the basic technologies for implementing the solution within the pilot group in NOAH (“NOt Alone at Home”) AAL - Ambient Assistant Living - European project. In a previous article, we presented a platform for mobile computing in a cloud computing environment for supporting networks between elderly people and their relatives, friends or caregivers. In the present research, we present the platform tools for end-users and caregivers and the development of streaming data analysis methodology, the design of homogeneous databases, the design of cloud access services, installing pilot equipment and conducting preliminary tests.
