Research on OFDM Satellite Channel Estimation Algorithm Based on Training Sequence

Large-scale global coverage is an important application scenario in 5G communication. Global information interconnection of satellite mobile communication is realized regardless of regional restriction. It is necessary to use modulation system of higher frequency efficiency to realize high-throughput communication. The system data throughout can be increased through application of OFDM. Due to the high PAR (peak-to-average ratio) of OFDM, high power return is generated. Meanwhile, Doppler effect results into intersymbol interference of OFDM. OFDM satellite communication channel estimation algorithm based on training queue is proposed based on foregoing problems. Firstly, the basic theory of OFDM and satellite communication is introduced to provide basis for further analyzing the adaptability of OFDM to the satellite communication system. OFDM modulation based on satellite communication system is designed including serial-to-parallel conversion and, coding mapping, inverse fourier transform, parallel conversion and up-conversion of satellite communication OFDM. The design of training queue of satellite OFDM is optimized to realize correlation peak detection, mark space and frequency deviation estimation and improve the channel estimation performance of satellite OFDM.
