Performance Comparison of Fuzzy and MFFN based IPFC

This paper presents the linearized model of Single Machine Infinite Bus incorporated with Interline Power Flow Controller [IPFC] which has been developed for improvement in damping of power system oscillations. On Modified Phllips-Heffron Model, the judgment of IPFC performance is done with PI controllers in assessment with, Fuzzy Logic Controller, MFFN (Multilayer feed forward network) controller. To test influence, additional damping controller like Power Oscillation Damping Controller is arranged in SMIB system to gain better dynamic execution of SMIB system by opting efficient firing signal such as change in pulse width modulation switching of VSC

in line 2, change in phase angle of the inserted voltage of convertor 1, convertor 2. The proposed intelligent controllers scrutinize advantageous features of IPFC. Eigen value of controllers provides assessable measure for the comparable performance of all the effective control signals.
